in 2018 I will be reviewing a plug and play chip tuning for my car.
I will be particularly interested in the Power Increase (bhp), and the fuel consumption improvement, that these devices promise.
Currently I am looking at two possibilities:
Racechip
Tunercentre
For my car (Isuzu DMAX 2012)
with 163 bhp / PS stock standard,
Racechip offers:
- €529
- +47 bhp / PS
- +105 Nm
- Tunercenter offers:
- €399
- +52 bhp /PS
- +128 Nm
seems like a “no brainer“.
Both companies have been around about 10 years, both advertise “made in Germany” (we’ll see).
Racechip does have a lot of endorsements, and even very professional reviews on YouTube.
